Default Icebox/Skunk2 IM

A mod that i am thinking in the future is intake and intake mani, however i have heard some bad things about CAI and lots of rain, also i would have to buy a type-r to fit on the skunk 2. Would an icebox fit both on my intake (gsr) and the skunk2 and would it be worth the extra money to get this system?

I have a 95 gsr.

when you buy the comptech setup.

But the comptech shortram specified for the ITR and not the GSR. The GSR shortram sits too high. The Icebox is the same for both units.

The ice box will not suck up water it is diffrent then lets say the aem cai. Also if you are just buying the ice box and not the intake arm then the ice box shuold have no problems fitting. I am personally trying to decide about the skunk2 manifold right now.

Does the icebox system sound/perform like the aem cai, because i have a p28 chip only uses the secondaries<? so that is the reason for the skunk2 im, and the icebox would replace my current intake, and then in the future when i got the skunk2 IM it would fit that too?

ok for performance take a look at this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=558464 and are you buying the whole sysem or just the ice box? If you are getting the whole thing the intake arm on a gsr and an intake arm on a type r are diffrent because on the type r the throttle body on the type r sits higher up so the intake arm has a diffrent bend in it.

I had an AEM and now Icebox for two years now. Butt dyno says both are okay performance wise.
