I'm thinking of purchasing some aftermarket seats but I want to keep using my stock seat belts. Can I just take off my stock rail and buckle and attach it to the aftermarket seats?

 

Ya you could do that. i did that with mine for awhile. i had corbeau forza's in my teg. however they barely fit cause the shoulder support area almost hit the door. also using the stock belts will over time rub into the material and look kinda bad. that happened to my driver's side one

You can do that as long as the new seats are not buckets. If they are, then the lap belt will not be close enough to your body and will not do its job in a wreck.

i was thinkikng about the arospeed GT series seats. Anyone know if these would be okay with stock seat belts.

 

Buy a Civic buckle and bolt it to the floor

good for Sparco's, etc...

 

I would be sketchy about buying a cheap seat. They dont look bad, but both your seat and belt work in congunction to keep you safe.
