hi people

i have been hanging on this board for a few days.

I currently have a 91 Acura Legend which i am selling, my next car would be a prelude like 97-01.

IS there a site i can go which tells me the differences between the non vtec and vtec?
Buying a a 97 98 year prelude hopefully a Type Sh what do i have to be aware of and what to look for?

what are the some problems other 97 98 owners have faced?

is there a color chart or an interior chart?

The biggest pain I have with my 97 lude is having to by premium gas.
The only other comment I have is: whatever you get, make sure it has VTEC !
One you have VTEC, you can never go back.

 

Check the "resource" section at http://www.hondaprelude.com and all 97+ preludes have VTEC.

Edit: As for colors, what color are you looking for. In each year there has been a red, black, white and a green. There are some other colors (Nordic Mist) and the two new colors, Satin Silver and EBP. As for interior colors, there's only one (black, but the specks in the seats changed) unless you want a 97-98 Eucalyptus Green Pearl colored prelude. They came with a black/tan interior.

hay i thought all 97+ are vtech

 

All the 97+s are not vtech, but they are all VTECs .

 

i am confused

 

Vtech is a cheap phone, VTEC is "Variable valve Timing with Electronic lift Control". Huge difference.
