Default Who wants in on a group buy of the best hood you can buy for your CRX or Civic?

I've been recently shopping around for a carbon fiber hood and the best ones I could find were made by ViS, but they just weren't what I was looking for. Then I discovered arguably the best overall hood there is. It's the EVO style hood made by Wings West, so you know its the best of quality. Here's why this hood is the best in my opinion: its got huge wide-grilled heat vents (for the performance minded), it looks exactly like the hood on the Lancer EVO (for the appearance minded), its extremely light weight (for the performance minded), and it has the lip before the vents (downforce for the performance people and just plain cool for the appearance people). I don't know how you could go wrong with this hood. This hood can be found at most place for around $800, around $700 at a few places, and $600 at the place I found. I'm organizing a group buy to try and lower the price some. If you're interested, email me at hites_05@hotmail.com

Nah..I like the VIS hood better.....they have the siR style hood that raises insted of lowers in the valve cover area....to clear my h22 valve cover. So I am out. Sorry.

IMHO, not only does that hood look liek total ***, it's made for an integra, NOT a CRX/civic.

Change the car selection to CRX and that hood isn't avaliable.

Since they don't even make it for our cars, it's not the best hood out there, and for 700 to 800 I would rather get a cf zc hood from vis or sir style cf hood from fiber images.

True dat. The SiR style cf hood to fit the usdm hoodline is better than the zc hood.....

humor me: the draw in the usdm factory hood falls down about 1/2 inch as the sheet metal gets closer to the center of the hood. (hits valve cover.) the SiR style cf hood from Fiber Images raises in that area...no no the 1 hump over the (r) side of the valve cover area..but the SiR style creates a sort of cowl...about a 2" raise...and it looks bad ***...

if you would read up on the cervini's hood........ it incorportates an intake system using the ram air scoops.......... function and fashion, somthing the ricers should jump on.
