i finally installed my SPC ball joint camber kit.
popping out the ball joint was the hardest thing i had to do... I had to use my freakin foot to put more weight on the vise so it'll pop out.. and so it did.. those of you who used a hammer.. i don't know how you did that because it was on there tight. other than that... it was pretty straight foward..
sorry for the poor quality pictures. I had to use my webcam because my friend is borrowing the digi...
on the vise..

installed finally.. the camber kit came with instructions... so it's not too hard.. just align it and bolt it on to spec

this is SIMILAR but not the same, so take it for what it is.
i have a K-MAC kit, which is almost identical to this kit with the exception that the k-mac kit has 'wings' that run along the two arms of the control arm. i have it adjusted for near- 0 deg camber. it beat the hell out of the fenderwells until it beat them so much it no longer hit. sadly, it beat the kit into a pulp as well.
the K-MAC kit can be flipped so to run negative camber (say, track days, whatever) - which is a reason i got the kit, along with it having adjustable caster- but if i did this, it would stick the kit out so far it'd hit even worse. . . .
not the same kit, i know. but i felt like writing.

well today at a accord meet i took the camber kit to the test.. we took a drive of hard driving through the mountains.. went through many bumps, dips big and small and hard turns. so far so good.
just curious where you got that kit and how much you paid, im about to lower my 94 lx adn i want a camber kit so i dont have to get tires 3 times a year, im looking for something that wont be hitting fenders. Thanks alot
http://www.groupbuycenter.com for 150 shipped. search for SPC
every accord has this problem...it bangs or not depend on how much you lowered your car...my logic is the more i lowered it...the more the arm has to extend to compensate...the more it extend the more it hits...I'm using Ingel Camber kit...i'm on my maximum 3 degrees now...and it still butterfly...
