Would I be able to get a decent sounding system with 1 sub in a medium/small box and 6.5s all around? Would I need to get a real nice sub/amp to have the 1 sub sound decent? I dont really want a huge box taking up my whole trunk and dont really want to spend too much money on a stereo, just want something that sounds halfway decent.

 

Yes. How much money, and size box/sub you need depends on what sounds nice to you.

 

Yeah, I have seen many cars with just one sub that sound awesome. I'm a MECP certified installer and I actually am going from a two sub setup to a single sub currently. Weight is the only real factor for me. If you invest in a decent sub and amp, you will be pleased.

 

I think it depends on what you're really trying to achieve. I have only 1 10" and 6.5's all around in my Teg and it sounds fine to me.

 

1 sub can sound great, and with 6.5 all around with an amp to it will sound even better, if done right. i got the hook ups on audio stuff, let me know wut ur looking for and ill see wut kind of deals i can get u
