why is the s2000 sold as a honda??

when the integra's/rsx's (even the plain jane ones/ non v-tec).
and nsx's are sold as an acura...

i never understood that..

shouldn't the s2000 be marketed as an acura???
acura= luxury or something. ????

 

I think because its offered under the Honda name the price of the car will be lower.....

 

Always remember, Acura does not exist in Japan. It's just an American division of Honda.... and the S2000 is part of a heritage line from when Honda first started, started with the S600, then the S800, and then 30 years later on the anniversary of the Honda Motor Corp, the S2000...... it's all about the heritage....

as did i, incredible. but...why not the NSX too? or is that just too luxury to be called honda

 

i never liked the acura brand anyways. if i had an acura, the first thing id do is swap the acura badges for honda badges. you got to be proud of driving a honda.

 

Honda needs a new sports car/flagship after the demise of the prelude. It's also a nice domestic competetor for the 350 and such.

 

i think the accord v6 6-spd is the prelude replacement.

 

as the new tsx is the jdm accord
