i got a 96 LS show car and it practically shut down in the middle of the road. i was in 4th gear, i pushed on the gas and then it made some sounds then bogged down and wouldnt restart. all electronics and everything works when key is in on position. it makes the ignition sounds like its trying to start but the engine just wont turn over. any body know whats up with it.

 

I'd do a quick fuel and spark test.

what exactly kind of "noises" did it make ?

 

check the t-belt, it might have jumped time.
