accord shakes, what might be wrong?
My accord used to shake at 55-70 MPH. I got a 4 wheel ballance done at Pepboys, now it shakes at 70-75MPH. it does not shake as bad as it did before, but there is still a shake. What else might be wrong? what could i check? i had new axles and an alignment done about 3 months ago.
I've had trouble with tires. A slipped belt will create a vibration. Also check the wear... had one tire cupping causing a vibration.
Try rotating your tires and see if the vibration moves around. If it does problems with your tires, if it doesn't its in your suspension.

That's what i was wondering. I was wondering if when it is balanced, if it was possible that it was not balanced properly?

i know that my rotors might also be warped. but i think that independent of that, something else might be wrong. it shakes when i brake from 65 ~ 50 MPH
If.. when you slow down.. it shakes... it should be a bent wheel.. I have the same problem.. thankgod I got some new ones..
So try and rotate them around.. and see if the shake transfers to another side.. Its probably a front wheel.. so move the 2 fronts to the back..

Yea... warped rotors would be your best bet... Check your lug nuts and see if they are tightened straight and to the correct torque specs
