Default New Buyer.......

How goes it everyone? This is my first time posting on this board, so figured i'd say hello! Unfortunately i am forced to sell my Cobra (insurance doesn't like 19yr olds with negligent driving tickets!) and i am looking at 94-95 Accords. Its possible i may do some things to the car (i have a bad habit of modding cars, what can i say?!), what are my options to that extent? I haven't even began to look into the aftermarket for these cars, figured you guys could help in that respect Also is there anything i should look out for when finding a car? Any common problems? This is my first honda, but i need something that is gonna get me to college and back without giving me too many issues! Thanks for the help in advance!

You should definetly check out the history of any used car you buy. I found a great website to check by entering the VIN of the car. It's http://www.carfax.com Make sure you take whatever steps you can to ensure that the used car you're going to buy isn't a lemon.

I was also just wondering why you were looking at getting an accord? Have you thought about other cars? I mean I love my accord but I was just wondering why you were looking for 94-95 accords?

I'm thinking about getting an Accord because a friend of mine has one, and i really like the looks of his car. They are decently priced and atleast semi-luxurious. I'm looking for something i can just kind of cruise around in and listen to my music in =D

What motor comes in these cars originally? How do they hold up against forced induction?

h22a swap with a jrsc or turbo and you won't miss the cobra too much

EDIT> maybe not the turbo if you can't risk any down times here and there while attending college.
