EXPO VIDEO!! Multiple angles of Chris' drifting technique.
For those of you that want to see more EXPO footage, here is an action-packed clip of Chris going *slightly* off track as he chases after Jeff652 in his B18 hybrid. The first half of the clip is an in-car view filmed from Chris' camera mount bar.....the second angle was filmed from the pits by ThePunk, so if you don't like the sloppy, jittery filming, blame him! Enjoy, the clip is about 30 seconds long.

Man what an awesome clip. Quite Intense!! Man it looks like that R is gonna start flipping in the outside footage. Awesome!!
I got a few more clips done, but I haven't had time to upload yet. Prolly next week before I finish . . . It'll be worth it though!

Start fliipin???? C'mon! If the track was 1 foot wider, I wouldnt have dropped that tire off and hopefully gathered it back up! Oh well...next time Jeff!!!!
ahhh, that was a very fun turn, you shouldn't have let off the gas!!!
as I mistakenly hesitated and almost spun at ~80mph with the awesome Hankook tires I was running...man...those things liked to drift with no warning, not progressive!!!!
, after getting a ride with Robbie, the best line through there was hugging the inside, then going bonzai into the next turn before the sweeper.

Yes! I realized I shouldnt have lifted, but I was on his line and he is a few hundred pounds lighter....not the right line! I tried to gas it, but I think when I hit the dirt it was too late!! Oh well, no excuses!!! I learned alot that day...and I am ready for more!!!!
DITTO!!!!!!!! Man the trouble I was having at the hairpin after the straightaway was catastrophic!!!!! I couldn't figure it out without getting very light in the rear, to a point where I'd almost spin. I can't take the same line as you guys. ahhh, magic mtn was even better, going sideways as you come down...gets the heart pounding fast and hard!
Thanks Jack. Bob timed that lap prior to the spin and he says it ws a 2:12:08!
Jeff was runnung 2:09:xx, you see why I had to push it to keep up!!!

LOL! I am sure ite too late now. If there were any possible claims then I would hesitate...but all the cars went home in one piece...(except for the blinker!!!)
ok that video does no justice to how freaking loud chris' car is. basically turn your computer up as loud as it can go and put your ear right up to the speaker. even then it's still not lound enough. huhuhu
gotta give chris credit. all of us in the control tower were predicting how long it would be until he spun out trying to impress gsrgrrl. he lasted longer than everyone expected.
