B16a in 95 GSR
I'm not 100% sure if I'm doing this swap or not, but my motor does need a rebuild and I don't have that kind of $$$ at this point in time. Hmotorsonline.com has B16a longblocks for $500, I believe they are OBD0. What kind of work am I looking at as far as swapping this motor into my car? Any wiring issues, will my GSR's alternator work on the B16, etc.
I'm bolting my GSR tranny up to the B16, how will that work accelration wise (since a B16's tranny has shorter gearing, is this going to fall flat on it's face?)
If I do decide to go this route, a turbo kit would def be happening sometime to make up for the lost power (and hopefully add a substantial amount).
Thanks in advance for any input.

lol with 500 dollars... plus shipping, plus stupid **** you're gonna need to do to get it all set up, you'll basically have a torqueless car.
Why dont you just rebuild it, with the money you planned to swap engines with?
what needs to be rebuilt?
