Bad scratch...can i touch it up to look perfect?
I have a 1" scratch to the metal on my fender. If i take my time and get touch up paint, clear coat, the right sand paper, and rubbing compound is it possible to fix it to near perfect?
Or should I take it to a pro? They're gunna wanna do the whole panel though...
Is it possilbe for them to just fix that spot?
BTW its vogue silver.

you can make it look pretty good with enough effort.
I'd get a couple new pencils and glue hole punched pieces of sandpaper to the eraser.

Someone keyed my car pretty bad and I dont want it to rust. What grit sandpaper is recommended if I do the DIY method? tia
