Default H22 All Motor w/ Crower Stage 2 dyno graph

I just got back from the dyno! Here's the setup:
1995 JDM H22A Engine
Milled Head 0.020
Imagine Engineering 4-2-1 Header
Thermal Classic Exhaust
AEM Cold Air Intake
AEM High Flow Fuel Rail
AEM Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
APEXi V-AFC
STR Adjustable Cam Gears
STR 70mm Throttle Body
Crower Stage 2 Camshafts
Crower Titanium Valve Retainers
Crower Valve Springs
Modified Stock Manifold
NGK Platinum Plugs
NGK Plug Wires

My ECU has yet to be reprogrammed for a higher rev limiter, but at 7400 rpm it made 204 hp. It should be in the 210 range.

... and this is in my 2100 lb 94 Civic hatch

Damn. That F*cking rocks. My friend has WAY more done to his RSX-S an makes 1hp more. I know that isnt a good comparison, but before he got his new FD we would run heads up and he couldnt pull me. If I had HP like that I would drag his ***...

We need more H22 dyno charts. I am really curious about the skunk2 cams.....

the h22 is a sick motor..if u had hondata and with a port & polish and some more dyno tunning u can make way more power..im waiting to see more h22's with some serious work done like people do on the b series motors..power=money

drop and Accord crank and rods and you'll hit 220hp and about 175 ft/lb.
here's my dyno sheet. w/Type S slugs and JG t.b. and Acc/crank and rods

How would the F22 crank add a lot more HP? I'm not sure on the stroke differences between the H22 crank and F22 crank, but if 20+ HP and wayyyy more torque comes out, I'm down.

I don't know about the HP/tq numbers but the accord crank is the same as the H23 crank.

I'm waiting too.

The Accord crank has a longer stroke than the H22 crank. You even might want to try a F23 Sohc Vtec crank too.. I think that has a 90mm stroke. Even more than the H23/F22 cranks. That should be a real torque monster. Great for street/circuit, but PROBABLY not too usable power band for drag.

Once again, I requested this elsewhere, but no reply. Post your dyno sheet... and I call BS.

Actually, Qfactor is correct. IF you go to a bigger stroke using the stock H22 pistons, compression goes up. Also, the additional stroke changes the power band. Torque and HP come into play earlier, however the ability to rev as high is decreased. The H23/VTEC engines can make great HP and TQ as long as they are built correctly and tunned well.

ranta18, Are you using a VAFC? it appears that you have at least some form of fuel management. Nice dyno.

WTF, my mods is almost the same like that

Port & Polish head (milled .030) compression to 11.3
Crower titantium valves,retainers, etc...
AEM camgears
Skunk2 stage 1 cams
JDM h22 intake manifold
RC injectors
JG TB
DC 4-2-1 header
JDM stock H22 block
5 Zigen Fireball catback
P28 w/ hondata s100

I only did 174 hp @ 166 torque. I know that it has to do with the H23 tranny that I have and I think I need to get crower stage 2 or 3 on this. I"ll post up my dyno soon. BUT WHAT GIVES............</TD></TR></TABLE>

I've seen h22's hit that with just CAI and exhaust

somethings wrong with your setup or the tuner, do a compression check. I had that problem last year at the end of the season. On my completely stock engine w/ just i/h/e (shitty DC header) last year made 183whp and 153tq w/ hondata stage 1 ecu. Now with the head ported, fererra 1mm oversize valves, titanium retainers, dual valve springs and an untuned ecu it's at 184whp and 163tq. When I get my new hondata s200, and tune it, i should be able to make more top end power.
