i am in the process of prepping my car for paint and i am having a very hard time removing the red pin stripe off of the sir front bumper...

anyone know an easy way to do it besides picking at if with my finger nail?

 

I had pin striping too, but i took it off for the same reason as you, im getting ready to paint. anyways, what i did, heat it up with a heat gun/hair dryer, then use an x-acto knife to get it started, and after you get your fingers under it, peel it off very slowly while applying heat. seemed to work fine for me, and its probably the exact same pin stripe too.
