Non-Honda...wanted to share, regret selling it.
Ya, I regret selling it. It may be a little ricey, but it was pretty damn quick too! It was my first "project car" and I learned quite a bit from working on it.
It was a '90 Miata B package. I was the second owner and it had been garage kept and dealer maintained before I got it. The previous owner was the daughter of the dealership's owner... bought it for his girl as a present when the Miatas first showed up.
Check the pics... yeah, I modded it just a bit.
Alas, selling it was a shame, but at least it enabled the purchase of my R!
I regret not buying a miata after my last honda got stolen. I was eyeing up a black 1.8 with hardtop, and IMMACULATE everything. Anybody who says miatas or girly or whatever, obviously has no appreciation for a true "sports" car. Nice car though mang, my only gripe is the "roll bars," I would have had to go with a harddog scca legal one, with double diagonals.

Yeah word, I'm 6'5". I do not fit in Miata's. My friend has a '93 black Miata with tan interior. He replaced the tan hardtop with a black one. Exhaust and brakes are the only mods. Fun little car to drive!
But a little too girly for my taste. White Miata's have to be the girliest of them all...

When you use the word "potential" to describe a miata, I think you are using it in the wrong context. Something tells me that mazda engineers had turning in mind when they designed the miata. . .

Yep, and coupled with low 13 timeslips, that makes one hell of a car. Understand?

Yes, I live in AZ.
The Miata was done fairly nicely before it was sold and it was a TON of fun to drive.
It had:
Eibach springs
KYB 5 way adjustable
Jackson Racing goodness
Borla exhaust and high flow cat
Generic oversized aluminum radiator
lower thermostat
Rx-7 mas
Miata R package beefier suspension bars and cockpit brace
Brembo slotted rotors
Axxis pads
15" Team Dynamics Monza wheels
Yolohama AVS Intermediates, I forget the size
Racing Beat "style bar" - wish I had done a roll bar!
Voodoo interior accessories
Random chrome bits under the hood
The usual assortment of NGK wires, etc
stock cd/cassette with upgraded 150watt Pioneers in the door and headrests
assorted Robert's Products chrome exterior bits
Miata R package body add-ons
I ran full synthetics, water wetter, etc
hell, I'm probably forgetting a few things here or there...
It was garage babied and well maintained. Not a single ding. This car left quite a few car shows with trophies, then was tossed through every turn I could find on the way home.
.... and this is what I bought next.
... not overrated, but I wish I had more $$$ to modify it like I did the Miata. I have a ways to go!
Yay!
