Default how long do really high performance tires last?

Ok, i'm looking at the falken azenis,
205-50-15, on an eg hatch.

apparently they'll last around 15-20k miles
its going to take most of my cash to get these, but i need tires.

now.. what if I went for a different tire,
something with close to the ammount of grip as the azenis,
i'm not sure what tire that'd be...

but like, how much do you expect a really good high performance tire to last??
maybe like.. yokamahama evs 100 for example? or bridgestone potenzas(had those before and they were RIDICULOUSLY grippy)

if you're expecting to get mileage out of a tire then 1) you're not in the right forum and 2) you don't need "really high performance tires."
