Ok I did A new tranny install on my 94 integra ls a while ago. I put a 97 jdm itr tranny in there. After the tranny install my ABS light would come on and off occasionally. Mainly at night when it was could it would come on but now its kind of constant. Every time I shift it goes on. When I push the clutch in it goes off for a split second then it comes back on when I release the clutch. Is there some type of sensor that could have been knocked lose that I can check. This also happened about a year ago after I put in my new clutch/flywheel but I rotated my tires and It went away for 8 months. I tried that this time but no luck. Some help would be appreciated. alot of the times when you need new brakes or simply brake fluid your ABS light will come on, dont forget the basics!

 

my abs light constantly stays on now.......dont know if its a broken sensor or what... abs and break fluid is good, fuses are fine, etc.

 

how do I check the brake fluid/basics. I found it ironic that right after the tranny install it happened. Also my car only has about 70K on it and I have replaced the brake pads about 8K ago. my brakes still feel strong.

 

hmm... is the check engine light on also?

 

mine ABS light goes on for a few seconds and then turns off too. I asked my mechanic friend and he says all my fluids are fine. Not sure what to do....

 

should the ABS light turn on when you start up the car?... if not what do I need to check?
