:: attn hondata dealers :: looking to rent/borrow and old 2b system :: (look inside) ::
this is prolly so off-the-wall/impossible/improbable that i dont even know why i am asking, (but i guess it cant hurt, so here goes)
i was wondering if any hondata dealers out there would be willing to let me rent or borrow an old, unused, trade-in 2b system. i am currently running on an fmu setup and i am sick of the high fuel pressure under boost and running rich and puffing black smoke. so here's my plan: get my setup tuned on the dyno with hondata, then have my ecu custom chipped with my tuned fuel and ignition maps.
i know, why dont i just buy a hondata in the first place. honestly, i am on a really tight budget and cant affort hondata right now. but at the same time, i dont wanna run this fmu setup anymore and run the risk of detontation or causing other problems. also, this is just a bandaid until i can actually afford hondata (too far away - next summer).
so if anyone can help me out, i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance. cheers.

dude, you cna buy an old 2b for like 250 bucks. tuning a chip to a hondata map is gonna be pretty hard. what are you planning to use to do that? eeprom software isn't cheap either

i considered uberchip/uberdata, but the support seems to be fading. also, it looks like everyone is selling theirs for hondata. thanks.
