Extremely nice cage...kudos! The sheet gussets are sweet since your rules allow it. For wheel to wheel stuff I'd think the top door bars are a bit low to keep cars from coming in over the top but for rallying hopefully trees won't be trying to join you in the cockpit. Hopefully the only cars you meet up with will be passing when you catch the guy in front of you. Nice piece of work.
On a directly related topic, I finally found pictures of a cage executed with A-pillars the way I have been drawing them for the last two years. These are from a factory GrN VW Polo 4...

I've come to realize that rally cage builders are really, really good at building cages. I guess when flipping your car at high rates of speed violently through trees and cliffs is involved, they kinda have to be. Someone at the shop I go to is getting his cage done by an ex rally co driver/car/cage builder, and it's sitting in the car, assembled, but unwelded, and still together.
