Default AEM CAI...

I just installed an AEM CAI late last week on my 2001 Lude, and just today I noticed something that I hadn't heard before. Anytime I take off and then let off, I hear a squeak coming from my car. I noticed it when someone cut me off this afternoon and I have no idea what it could be from. I didn't noticed it before, but then again I always have system going. Any ideas ?

its prolly your aem moving around in the hole to your fender. Check it for fit. If its too tiight it will scratch and sqeek when the motor torques. If tightness is discovered either make the hole larger, line the hole with rubber or other nonsqueeking material or go overboard and get energy suspension motor mounts.

If it's like a "chirp" sound I think it's probably the sound of air rushing past your throttle body when it's abruptly opened.

I love that sound. Yeah, it is either the throttle at WOT, or a sudden suck of oxygen though the cotton air filter. Don't worry, no problems with that sound.
