JDM foglights installation...

According to the instructions in that URL, it is mentioned that the foglights will only come ON if the parking lights or head lights are ON.
How do I get around that so that the foglights ARE INDEPENDANT of the headlights or parking lights? ie, I can use the foglight switch to turn the foglights ON or OFF whenever the heck I want, regardless of the state of the headlights/parking lights/etc...

According to this site:

You want to connect to connector number 5. I think mine was occupied by my alarm system, so mine is tied to headlights.

Can I ask a really stupid question: are the JDM foglights the ones that fit into the OEM slot under the turn signal? If so, where do you get these online?

Hello Kevin. What r u doing on the wrong side of the auto world?
Yes that's me. No I didn't buy a RAV4. I ended up changing my mind at the very last moment and bought a 2001 Prelude SE instead, electron blue pearl. Obviously not as crazy fast as my MR2 Turbo of course...

I was a Honda owner before I had the MR2, and I just like to keep up with current trends and such. Owning my parts business, I need to be up to date with my info.
Anyways, I'm glad to hear that you bought a Prelude. Much better than driving a boring SUV!!!
