Bad Brake Booster Check Valve?
For some reason all the sudden when I press the brakes on my car to stop now the pedal sinks. I know it is full of fluid, and I'm pretty sure there is no air in the lines as I haven't messed with my brakes in a year. So when I press the pedal down I have to pump it a couple times to come to a complete stop. Do you think it could be that check valve? Seems to me like I'm not getting good vacuum so maybe that is not holding it in.
I have an Integra MC in the room next to me but I need to go back and get the booster for it before I can use it. And goddam work has me working 7 days a week I have no time.
Your brake check valve holds vaccume for the vaccume assist when there is no vaccume from the motor. Kinda like a reserve that can be used 1 or 2 times. Thats all it dose. It should not make the petal soft.
You probably have a bad seal. When you pump the brakes up and keep pressuse on it dose it sink back to the floor? If it dose then you have a bad seal in your MS
