i an ericks racing motor with 14:5:1 comp... then i lowerd it to 13:1 with a head gasket...... becuase the local import shop said you could run that on pump gas ... then today i went to the shop becuase it was all done and they ONLY RUN RACING FUEL!! so now i am screw'd..... can someone tell me how to run this on 93??????

there is no where around here to get it tuned.... i dont have the money to send out to cali.... or anything..

 

what kind of management do u have?u need a v-afc or hondata or something then u can run 93 octane

 

Install some really big cams with lots of overlap. That should relieve some cylinder pressure...

There are tons of neon guys running 12.5:1 with 93 octane with stock computers. We pull the timing out with an MSD box and install some gnarly crane cams.

 

What kind of ecu are you using?Im gonna be running a chipped ecu from cheetah and a vafc with 13.5c/r.

I'm not trying to sound like an *****, so please don't take it that way. But, why in the hell did you buy what read like a race only motor to run on the street? I'm sure whoever, could have built you a competent street/strip motor.

But if you want, I'd be more then happy to take that sweet motor setup off your hands.

Do you have a dyno in the area?See if SGT can make you a better program,if not just retard the timing some.

 

I WANT TO GO FAST!!... but if i spent my money on a turbo motor it would be like 500+whp then i would hurt myself.!..take it of my hands?? what does that mean?

 

there is a dyno like 100 miles from here... but who is going to tune it???... SGT?

Well the people at that dyno could tune it for you.If SGT is in your area get him to do it.
