how to read camber?

Default how to read camber?

how does 1 read camber? can i get a gauge or something that can actually measure the degree to which my tires are not perpendicular to the black top?

There are several types of guages on the market, the best ones for race use cost in the hundreds of dollars. However none of them are as accurate as an actual alignment machine.

If you're wanting to try to adjust a camber kit yourself, don't. When the car's ride height changes, toe-in also changes, and depending on the type of camber kit you have, it could also possibly affect toe, which has the most impact on tire wear. Get it adjusted on an alignment machine if you want the most life out of your tires.
