Ok, I have a set of brand new never used 2001 Civic seats. I want to put these into my 1990 Civic hatchback. What is the best way to do this? Thanks!

 

Usually you have to use your stock rails on the seat but sometimes fitting them on is a problem...if they have side mount brackets like del sol seats then you have to use one EF rail and the 2001 rail or you might have to fabricate something...thats what I did. If you could take a pic of the bottom of the seat and the rails your working with I could help you out a little more.

 

Just to add...I put del sol seats in my car not 2001...Ive never put them in so I dont know what the rails look like, I was just trying to give you some advice from my experience...pics of the seats would help though unless some1 on the forum has already done this seat swap(which is more than likely)

Will do! I might have to find a welder to use or soemthing. I think my best bet will be to use the stock 90 rails and somehow fit the 2001 seats onto those rails.
