Default New to Tegs, have a few Qs

Picking up a teggy for my lil sis. 94 4 door LS i think. Had a few basic questions.
Which year. and model (2 door or 4 door) leather seats will fit perfectly?
Also, are there any things i should check for teg specific. (Like 1/4 panal rust on civics)? tHanks

94-01 4dr front seats are all interchangable (i believe even 2dr will fit but i think there was an issue with one of the holes)
As for rear seats, you'll also need to look for 4dr specific and in the coupes 94-97 was slightly different from 98+ but would fit with minor modification.

Other than that, just look over the entire vehicle. Integras have a few kinks in them like slow power windows, power antennas failing, heatshields rattling, etc but nothing major to my knowledge

front and rear impact damage.

fenders and bumpers lining up.

condition of the brake rotors.

steady idle of the engine.

creaking noises when you drive.

open and close the windows, see how easily/difficult the glass slides

condition of the power antenna.

Water collection in the spare tire wheelwell (possible water damage/rust)

how clear the headlights/taillights are. (check for water collection or condensation)

Condition of the tires and rims

check for rust or holes in the exhaust

drive and feel how the shocks and struts feel. If they are too soft or bouncy, they may need replacement soon

and your other basic used car things...

its all i can think of while im having my lunch.

Do a compression check.

Flush the fluids after you get it.

(You probably knwo this)

is it an auto or manual?

I can't think of any Integra focused checks at the moment.

Alot of good points, comp test is a must, and oil change plus coolant and tranny flush would prob soon follow.

It isn't a problem but a common "thing" with people who just bought integras.

you will find that reverse is hard to shift into. Just pump the clutch a few times or shift it into first then back into reverse. It's just a "thing" with our manual trannys.
