Pro-Kit or Sportlines?

I've searched for about an hour on this now.... anyone got first hand info on this? I want to swap from Sportlines to the Pro-Kit for more ground clearance, hopefully a better ride quality, and at the same time suffer ZERO LOSS in performance. Will this happen?

yea you wont get any loss in performance, the pro-kits are supposedly better in handling becuse of the higher spring rates and they dont drop as low.
what shocks are you running, upgrading shocks will also help your ride quality.

Eibach doesnt compensate for the bigger wheelwell on the integra with either spring. Both will appear to sit higher in front. I had the sportlines on my last gsr and prokit on the current LS, its hard to compare because now i have tokico blues and type R sway bar, I can say i didnt like the ride of the sportlines me and my friends called it the integra SS,lol
sportlines nice drop shitty ride
pro kit nice ride, not enough drop
I had Jotech cut off .5 off the front last weekend and im very satisfied with the ride and the way it looks.
on me for doing that but my Turbo project has compeletey drained my $ haha

I'm running KYB-AGX on the sportlines right now (bumpstops cut), I don't know if I'm getting old or what... although I'm not that old. But yeah, I think its a little too stiff for my taste now and I have the AGX set on the '1' (softest).
If the PRO-KIT can give me a somewhat better ride WITHOUT any loss in performance than I'll get it. I guess I just want it confirmed that the PRO-KIT has a higher spring rate? But at the same time I'm confused, because shouldn't a higher spring rate = a stiffer spring? Making the ride even
, just with more ground clearance?
This is why I was asking for people's personal experience with the PRO-KIT vs Sprotline. Or opinion on the PRO-KIT alone. kepp them coming, thanks!

I have the Pro-Kit with 17" wheels and the fender gap is just right. About a finger or two. However, with my 15" wheels the drop didn't seem like it was enough. Either way I'm putting the 15's back on and I'm sure I'll be fine.
Pro-Kit (+)'s: I can drive almost anywhere without worrying about speedbumps, driveways, etc (within reason of course). Don't experience rubbing of the tires with 205 40 17's or my 205 50 15's.
Pro-Kit (-)'s: Can't really tell the car is lowered if you look quickly. Can't adjust the height (but that's true of all springs)
If your goal is to have a noticeable drop, then I would recommend the Sportlines. If your goal is a slight drop and care about performance (though I don't know how much either spring really helps performance
) I'd say the Pro-Kits.

Oh yea, and my Pro-Kit is matched with Tokico blues (non-adjustable's).
My ride is definitely bumpier than my friend's stock GSR, but then again my Pro-Kit and Tokico's have been in there for a good four years now. But it's definitely not an uncomfortable ride at all. For me it feels just right for daily driving. I like how my car rides and in my opinion the ride feels just the same as it did when I had the suspension installed.
for the ride quality of the Pro-Kit (w/my setup and for me of course).

Ive read the kyb agx's are one of the stiffest adjustable aftermarket shocks and struts. I have them on my maxima set at 2/4 and now at 1/3. they are stiff.
and I agree with you, isnt a higher spring rate imply a stiffer spring?

I have sportlines and KYB AGX. I don't think the ride is too harsh...I had ground controls and KYB AGX on my Civic and that ride felt harsh. I have my AGX on 4 in the front and 3 in the rear. I would think the prokit would be better for performance but I had no choice since I purchased my car with this setup. Either way you will be happy I think!

Most people seem to say the PRO-KIT, will perform better and I would think so too since it usually costs more. But does someone have some more detailed info on why exactly the PRO-KIT would be better?

All I know is this...My buddy had the sportlines and he was happy with them. I put on my pro-kit with tokico blues and a rear type r sway bar and my car has a comfortable ride and handles fantastically...I am getting a little older now(30 tomorrow) and I am extremely happy with this set up. I do however wish that the car was a little lower at times...then again I don't have to worry about speedbumps and all that jazz.
Pro-Kit sits higher and I think is just higher quality, hence the increase in price over Sportline and the reason they handle better. I have 'em on my Civic, can't really explain why they handle better though. They will probably sag less.
