has anyone experienced broken stock timing belt with jun3?

mann i was cruising down the road shifting into third gear around 3k and it just broke

How many miles were on it? Was the install done correctly?? as far as the tension on the belt.. And what kinda gears were u using?

ditto but if your that worried just spend $150 on a PE or get a Toda belt
peace of mind that your car is reliable if priceless

i run c5 block c1 head stock head gasket juns cam gears jun spring skunks retainers cam gears were at zeros jun 3 degreeed in @ 110 degrees on primary lobes for both cams.

I would never run a high lift cam with a stock belt... They don't cost that much and it's better to have overkill than be killed.

I have put 2,000 miles on a stock t-belt with Jun3's but I havn't really redline yet since I already kill the piston rings , this is what you get when you don't tune it .

Stock belts are known to break at any given time.

Leo at JDMspecperformance sells the strong belts. Which I waiting on to call him in a bit.

Tell me, whats cheaper.....a $160 belt or a new head and block $3500
