I am looking for a way to turn my amber corner into a clear corner.. I've seen DIYs that paint the turn signal so it looks red.. I'm sure there is a way to make it clear.. but I dont want to take my taillight off until I know what I need to do it.. and how much time it will take
-If you didnt know clear corner taillights do come stock in the US and austrailia.. but I'm thinking if I do find a pair the price is going to be too steep for me to afford .. thanks for any help you can give

you can't do it since the len is amber already. how can you turn it to clean? bleach it? no it dont work that way.

 

Hmm.. then have any clue how it was turned to all red.. I'm thinking that they took the amber part out somehow.. completely out .. then it was clear and they painted it.. not sure.. maybe I'm crazy haa

 

They just painted it with "clear" red paint from the hobby store.

I think he's right..

 

I'm working on a way to dremel out the amber part and replace the piece with clear plastic diffuser.

It can be done.. now the question is .. how? anyone done anything as far as painting/ unpainting (hah) integra tails before?

 

dont be so cheap, just pick up a set for 10 bucks from some one on the board who doesnt want them any more

go to junk yard and buy a 99-00 tails and color those bottoms red.

 

people have been painting the amber part red.. (on the outside of the taillight) with candy apple red stainglass window paint.. does anyone have any pictures or any comments about this?

 

I did mine.....look great! Testors paint. I can put some pics up if ya want.

 

would be great thanks.. difficult?? are you happy w/ it? lots of people are painting their whole taillight and masknig off the reverse light.. but some are only painting hte amber part.. which one looks better (pics?)

 

i painted the ambers on my car and it turned out fairly good i think

 

hmm... its a diff color.. but its ok.. I think I'd rather keep it amber in that case but it looks good on a civic diff colored.. any others have painted pics?
