Friend finally got his new wheels! New Pics!!
Here are some updated pics of my friends hatch. A year back his friend crashed his car and cracked one of the SSR Comp. Well finally last week the kid ordered the wheel and now they are on the car. He also got some Yokohama Parada spec 2's. They are really meaty tires. They grip very well. We also installed an ingalls camber kit and that was the biggest pain in the ***. So many things went wrong that shouldnt of. Well here ya go....

Update
We just installed one of those J's Racing style intakes. After an hour or so of stripping off the red paint that the seller on ebay painted it, we got it down to black plastic
It is crazy loud! My friend says that it did help with the throttle response. And
VTEC
is mucho louder!!

Looks good. Not really understand why people put the hood spacers in there to raise the back of the hood.... I think it looks really really ghey. The hatch is white. Why is that? Other than the hood and the hatch needs to be painted
on everything else. I like the lip too.

The hatch is white because when he first got the car, like years back, it was body kit to the max, not his doings. The owner decided to shave the trunk. Really stupid of him. Well when my friend got the car he got all stock bumpers, etc.. The only thing that was missing was the hatch. The other week he asked a kid if he was down to trade, and he wanted to. So there ya go. The spacers under the hood allow for heat to escape. I think it adds more characteristic to the car. I dunno.

south county.....you?
And the hood is on spacers, so it sits higher in the back. Its one of the VIS hoods, really nice fitment. Just out of curiousity, i was asking him if he would put his stock headlights back in, in my opinion it might look better. What do you guys think??

I read in option2 magazine that a lot of drifters and race cars have the raised hood thing in the rear in order to allow hot air to escape quicker, therefore allowing the engine to run cooler ...
they make kits that allow you to adjust the hieght of the hood and such
does it work maybe... does it look funny yes... but if it works would I do it yes

Ya they have been doing it for a while, not just in japan. Its mostly for turbo'd cars because they create alot more heat. But it does help a tad.
