need some input on this all motor crx setup
here is what i want to do eventually
i can get a GSR parts car pretty cheap, obd 1
swap in the b18c, sell off the tranny and the only one i could get is the 90-93 cable tranny since the crx's is a cable- but i dont know which cable da tranny would be good, yet
i would like to run reprogramed gsr ecu with a vafc
header tech header
then in a bit swap in a b20z, just a few qustions, what do you guys do with the little ridge in the combustion chambers of the gsr head ?
so basically it will be
-GSR donor car, sell the tranny for a cable DA one
-Sell off the GSR block or keep it as a spare and get a b20z block
-with reprogrammed ecu and vafc and maybe some cams
and whaever is needed to support the cams
i just dont know if the GSR parts car is worthwhile since the only thing staying is the head from it, but i can sell everything from the interior and rear brakes unless i can convert the crx to hydro, but i kind of like the cable feel better

it'll be cheaper for you to pickup a jdm 1st gen b16a swap and build from there especially if you're gonna use a b20 block eventually ... why do you think you need a gsr parts car ? maybe if you're innovative you can transfer the gsr dash/harness/wiring to the crx ... put in some power windows and locks from the gsr ...

haha, no my dad goes to those auctions that the junkyards buy their cars from, many integras in the $1000 or less price range, but with an irreparible title
