alright guys this is weird...all i need for my swap now is shift linkage[being made] and to put in my half shaft and drivers axle...but when i first bought the halfshaft i pushed it into the tranny but later had to take it out and now im trying to put in back in and the "spines" match up and it goes in a little but it wont go all the way in anymore, ive been trying it for a week now but it just wont go in...i know the tranny is in gear but i dont think that would make a difference....has this happen to anyone else? or if any1 has any ideas PLEASE post

Just an Idea. Did the seal, or some other obstruction get jammed in there? Ryan

 

yea, plus there is that last little ridge to get over ...better shine a light in that hole!!!

 

use a flashlight and look in the whole, there is a ring, you need to use ur thumb but put it in there and king of move it around and get this thing just pefect, take the axle stab it in there, you can try having a freind wack the other end of the axle with a hammer, we did this and it popped right in.

 

alright im still having this problem..... the half shaft wont go in all the way. just a question but will it slide in real easy or do you have to use all ur strength?..
