Default LS Theory (Probably stupid)

I had an idea last night with a few friend about taking my LS Engine and putting a Type R Head on it... because the LS Engine has nice torque and the Type R Head should give me good top end too.... I don't know alot about engines yet, I'm taking courses and reading up alot... and yes I'm a noob so this is like open flame asking the question... but I thought that I would throw it out there anyway.

you have to thread, tap and plug them so it's not functional.... then you just run your oil line from the back of the block to the side of the head and you should br alright...

Oh so you just happen to come up with this magical idea huh? LOL!

On a side note I was playing around in the lab yesturday and I was taking some of my work home with me. It was a mixture of some nitrogen and oxygen. Well I was checking my oil upon leaving like normal and i accidentally dropped some and it got into my short ram intake. Well when I was driving home my car felt unbelieveable quick. I don't get it. Do you guys think it will have any effects for the performance wrelm of cars?
