checklist of parts needed(rear sway bar on 5th gen)
Well it has come time for me to add a rear sway bar to my car and I need a checklist for the misc parts I need.
So far I have:
gs-r rear sway bar
ITR lca's
I know the GS-R rear sway bar is only 14mm but I haven't driven a car with a rear sway bar in so long that I don't want to jump the gun and add a 23mm one. I want to get used to the gs-r one first.
where can I get the misc bolts and whatever brackets I need?
TIA.

you forgot endlinks..
honestly I'd set it up and go 22 mm ITR + beaks kit... and eh3 civic si front sway 21 mm..
I have friends that just use the ITR bar in the rear, no front and as long as you dont try to do anything stupid you are fine..
If you do, remember the throttle is your friend

You don't need "ITR" LCA's. You can use regular Integra rear LCA's. Or Civic's LCA's that came with a rear anti-sway bar. If you use ITR LCA's you will have to use ITR rear shocks.

Oh sorry forgot to mention I have EG6 Tein HA's which require ITR lca's.
Navin, i really don't want to start out with a 22-23 mm bar in the rear. I had a bad experience when I had my 92 SE-R and a rear sway bar. lets just say I freaked out when I had to avoid something in the rain on the freeway....
once I get used used to the handling characteristics though, I will get a 22mm ITR bar.
so what else do i need to get... I already have a gsr bar and ITR lca's...

you will need bracket flanges for the swaybar to mount to the subframe. The bushings for these, swaybar bushings, endlinks and bushings for those.
I have the part numbers for the itr swaybar parts, but your numbers will be different.
i have had my bar and stuff for over 5 months now, maybe someday i will actually get this crap on my car.

2 words....Subframe reinforcement
Beaks or BSQ whatever tickles your fancy. You'll need endlinks, unless they came with the bar. If you go on the beaks site or BSQ site there is a checklist sort of thing. Hope this helps.
