I have a JL audio 10w1 sub and I am building a box for it in the wheel well of my car it a 99 civic coupe the box is 21x19x5 which is around 1.15 cubic feet how is this gonna soud I need to know whether to make it ported or sealed and does any one have this sub and what kind of amp to use also I dont under stand it says its a 1-8 ohm so what does this mean but I really need to know what kind of amp to use on it the lower in price the better

 

just wanna know what amp to ruum to it an dif anybody has one and what kinda box

 

Frequency cutoff in that box will be around 47. If you port the box you will not get it in the wheel well. Port length will be very long on a 1 cube box.
