-Kumho Ecsta supra 712 vr rated $57.00 a tire
-Kumho Ecsta 711 hr rated $43.00 a tire
-Sumitomo HTR 200 hr rated $52.00 a tire

I would stay away from Pirelli. There tires are not round. You will get sterring wheel shake!!

i had those on my rota's i liked the performance but they were loud

 

Kuhmo 711 are HUGE POS tires

Kuhmo 712 are a bit better

Pirelli P700Z - good for first 20000

Sumitomo -

If you are looking at 185/60/14 - look into dunlop D60's - good all around performance

195/60/15's Yoko's or Bridgestone S03 Pole Positions

thanks for the info.....and you choice in a 205/50/15 would be?.... keep in mind i don't wanna spend that much these tires will just be for daily driving......i don't really race that much my car is slow neways. just need something that will perform when i need it too. like coming off a exit ramp at 85-90 mph something like that

I just got 195/50/15 Bridgestone RE750's on my si wheels, so far so good.

 

would you guys suggest 195/50/15 or 205/50/15 on the si wheels?

i would recommend either of the 2. Azenis for sticky street tires and 450's for good all around tires. and i would go for 205/50/15 (wider is better)

-Sumitomo HTR 200 hr rated $52.00 a tire~ definatly not. my friend has these in the z rated. still spin like crazy. not good traction at all.

I have the kumho 205/50/15 on my Si. It runs better than stock that's all I can say

 

I have 205/50 Kumho 712's on my Si wheels and they are awsome!

 

Do not go with Nitto 450's they are junk. I have installed may of these tires, they are not good buys.

I'd go with 205/50/15 tires for your Si wheels:
Potenza SO3's are expensive but great tires
Yoko AVS e100's are great tires for the price
Kumhos are also good tires for the money

I have the SO3's right now on my Si wheels and I like them very much, I would also have noproblem going with the e100's

tru dat....my friend has them and he ses the sidewalls aren't stiff and the tread wear is hurtin...don't plan on gettin those..

 

if you just need some tires for everyday......the Falken Ziex series is great

I would go with either one in a 205/50/15

 

I have the Pirelli's...700z...205/50/15....awesome when dry, VERY shitty in rain/snow.

 

I personally prefer 195/50R15 over the 205 or 55 profiles on the 195. two reasons for this:
- smaller overall diameter, lighter tire, slip angle ==&gt;better performance
- better clearance and less rubbing ==&gt;less annoying

from the expirence and what I had:
Kumho 712s are not bad choice overall for the price and performance

Pirelli P700z IMHP are pretty crappy all around (even on the dry surface, rain or snow its simply dangerous)

Toyo FZ4 nice on wet but no grip on dry surfaces, too flimsy of a tire.

Potenza RE910 again fairly good all around tire, lasted a long while but then again its all season deal.

Potenza SO3 excellent tire in the dry but sucked pretty badly during first snow/cold wet weather.

Toyo T1S I defiantly like these alot, this is what I am running, nice wet weather performance with the dry, fairly lightweight tire as well.
