Default CF canards are done

I'll be making some of these for people , post if you're interested...

these are pics of the FIRST set we molded , the weave was not completely straight and the cloth isnt the same as the final product.

these pics just give an idea as to what they will be shaped/look like , the FINAL product will be posted later , I simply want to gauge interest in the product.

price will be $125.00 , dont complain , these are very labor intensive as far as setup time and all that , I only do this in my free time so it has to be worth it for me as far as the price goes.

Thanks -

Jamie

oh , and please excuse my dirty kaa

How are they secured to the bumper? Screws? They look really good.

I used rivets , but its a choice the buyer would have...

lip is custom for all who asked , soon to be an airdam/splitter combo

looks like it's slowly pulling your bumper down. Nasty gap under your corners.

I like the canards! I was trying to get someone local to make me some but he flaked. I would pick some up for sure - as long as they are cheaper than J's . I'll be a prototype . 97 EJ8 (coupe).

the bumper has always fit like *** on that side , its an aftermarket fender and just doesnt line up right.

I'm posting pics of the canards , not my bumper fitment.

i might be interested. and im interested in the air dam as well. can u make the canards out of fiberglass too (to drop price). i dont really care for the bling of carbon fiber, i kno its being USED to save weight, but 125... ehh. either way, im interested. what does it include with $125? any mounting hardware, a CoOL sticker?

good stuff man. very nice! i love ur car!!!!!! very FUNCTIONAL!

dude, that **** is disgusting..
i guess those CF canards put too much down force on your bumper, giving you that huge gap under your corner light haha.

oh yea, the position of your sidemarkers are pretty nasty

those canards are riced out in my opinion... they just looks super cheesy and totally home-made "i know its because they are" those gaps are pretty gnarly also..

your opinion is pretty riced out. why dont you ask Doc what he uses these for. I had a good discussion this morning with him on AIM about their effects on the TRACK. . these aren't "look at me" parts. you'd know if you did some research and talked to him before making such comments. i doubt he cares what they look like. most people concerned with what they do on thr track wont be either. This ain't NOPI.

hes not asking what everyone thinks of his car. hes just trying to see if anyone wants to buy the canards.

i agree, a better presentation will get a better response. if there was nothing negative distracting in the picture (like the huge gaps all over and the sidemarker placement) then all the focus would be on the part you want. im not bagging im just telling you why this is happening.

one question, what are these things used for?
