Okay here it goes..... ::takes deep breath:: When I crank the car up no CEL but after about 1 1/2 of hard driving it comes on. If I stop and turn the car off and crank it back up no CEL . My question is ... My motor running off of limp mode when its not on or is it there the whole time just needs a few minutes to turn on ? If its really off,for that whole minute I could get a descent run in at the track .
Another question my motor is running lean so thats what is causing the knock well how much fuel do I need to throw in there ? Could I fix it with a fuel pressure regulator ? Anyone have a descent guess about how much more fuel ?
Also I have a bad miss right at 4000 and above while keeping the rpms steady. Could that be causing the CEL to be sincing knock ? Also to fix the miss plugs,wires,and someone told me to replace the rotor and cap also ? Its got right around 101 000 miles on the motor I think ... Time for a tune up I suppose .

I've already replaced the knock sensor and the motor is a b18c1 in a 92 civic H/B with one of those damn JG manifolds so if anyone is interested i'll trade for a skunk2 cuz i'm getting way too much air.

my car is doing the same thing.....make sure your plugs/wires/timing is good, and maybe clean the injectors.....i thought it was the fuel pump, i replaced that, and it got better, but it didn't fix it.....next i'm going to clean the injectors, replace the wires, and adjust the valves...if that doesn't fix it, then i'm going to replace the KS
