Take a look at this!!!
This is a Car that Don and I worked on and he built the motor. we worked on it last week before he went to the track that weekend..
This car was at DFE Enterprises in Jax FL...
And the Guy on the ground is Pete.He works on the body parts and other stuff..Hes a great guy..
I would tell you About the motor Specs but i cant...I would but its up to the owner to let me say anything..But i can say its a bad *** motor..
If you look close you can see the belt is going an odd way.Thats because Don made the motor operate clockwise..The cams are made by Kent. Thats one way to get it to spin the other way...
Well enjoy the pics..And if you have any question ill try and answer them..

CSR and DSR are neat classes. If I had the time/money/skillz, I could go for one of those. Or, if just the money, then a Radical DSR would do too.

very cool car!</TD></TR></TABLE>
No not a 180 degres, The cams are ground diffrently and plus you must use a dry sump because the stock oil pump doesnt work..And slight oil system modification, And a reverse rotation water pump. And a extra timing belt tensioner.
And try and find a starter.....

Clean aluminum monocoque car. Do you know who built/designed the chassis?
The C and D sport racers are very fun cars and used ones are now fairly affordable, considering its a purpose built race car.

I'm guessing it was cheaper than a bespoke tranny. Especially if he already had another good tranny and a mess of gears for it. After seeing the Vemac in EVO (Elise clone that has a GSR motor longitudinally(sp?) mounted with a bespoke tranny) I looked into the prices for those kinda trannies. About 5-10K GB pounds I believe depending on number of gears and other options.

If you mean Lotus7-type Same here, but I also found a rear engine setup that I like, and it might be more feasible...they even build these with motorcylce engines:

I have a bunch of idea drawings that look like that chasis. Looks like they did the same thing I have been thinking about exactly, reworked the Locost as a MR with IRS. Thanks man!!

blasphemy!

that is the famous Gulf livery, seen on the Porsche 917s and Ford GT40s in the 60s and 70s
A classic scheme, a lot of other cars have duplicated it through the years. I have a great pic of the Audi R8 in that scheme from a couple years ago.
Evan, who hopes to have a Gulf Miata someday
