Default Bald But Effective

I'm just curious for all Type R owner; how long was it when you guys first change your first sets of tires? I still have my original Potenza on there and I have 42000 KM (26,000 MI). There way pass the indicator mark but they still stick really good. TYPE R POWER! Yeah, I know the treadlife for them are 24,000 KM (15,000 MI) but I guess I'm just too crazy to change them.

If you value your life, you should use the indicator mark on the tire as incentive to change the tire and not as bragging rights that emphasize how you continue to drive on tires that need to be changed, which puts your life and the lives of others at risk.

I have a set on my daily driver that are just about at the wear bars, but not quite. They dont perform very well in the rain anymore and i'm having another set put on today. Its not worth me risking my life - or someone else's - in the rain. You're going to need new tires sooner or later, its not like you're saving money by putting it off.
