Default Greddy Profec-B Remote Switches

I was wondering what the wiring schematics are for the Profec-B High/Low boost switches that you can plug into the back of it. I want to use some existing switches and dont want to buy the extra wiring from Greddy just to take it apart.

I read somewhere that you can buy stuff at Radio Shack and make your own. I don't remember where I read it at, but I was considering doing it and wiring everything to the left horn button. Never followed through with it so can't be of anyhelp. Later Allen

Get this back up. I don't wanna pay $100 for a momentary switch with a little remote transmitter, either!

I think that all you really need to make this work is a jack to plug into the back of the greddy profec b than just run 2 wires from there to a switch and thats it..

You shouldn't need anything else sence the only thing thats in the greddy remote switch box is the remote device electronics..

And yes all of the parts can be fround at Radio Shack....

I know all the parts I need, thats not the problem its just I also do not want to destroy my boost controller if I wire something wrong. If the plug is just a mono headphone looking plug the it will be really easy.

Apex i GSR: If you could take a picture of the plug that goes into the boost controller for us that would be great!

That's the ****, my buddy told me he wanted to keep the horn functional, so you'd hear a little beep then taillights blazing away. Good work on finding the info. I might need it for a future project. Later Allen

Why not just put the switch inline on the wires on the profec? I don't plan on using my Horn button, so is that one way it could be done? Make a switched circuit on the two wires for the headphone jack, and that switch mounted where you want it...

I hope that's how it works, cause I don't wanna burn up my Prefec B.

I am going to use one of my cruise control buttons on my steering wheel. I allready found all the wires in the steering column. I think it will be a nice touch. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
