Default Spark Plugs for my b16a2, any suggestions????

I realize there isn't much of a difference between them all but I've always been one to spend a little more for something that "might" be better. So my question is does anyone have any preferance on plugs? I filled up with 76 the other day instead of Cheveron and I think I fouled one so might as well change them out.

While I've got your attention, what about plug wires? Was thinking of just sticking with good ol Accel since they have always been good to me in other cars.

i'd just go with how it came from the factory, NGK platinums.. a little expensive but I heard Bosch Plat +4 suck.

NGK gets my vote, this needs to be a poll, NGK would be winning by a mile. Bosch are like PepBoys "top of the line" products. Might as well search around for some APC spark plugs.

I didn't know spark plugs offered hp gains, at least noticeable gains, but I guess every gain is notcible on a dyno. What car is being dyno in that example???

btw, someone needs to edit rather than "post-whoring"

edit: nevermind, i re-read, all motor d16 .............. see it's not so hard to edit

when i put bosch.....the name alone should scare you.....in my car it ran like **** ran over twice by a cement truck and once by a trash truck...that's just my opinion.....if the car ran good with bosch in it they would have put it in there when they built the car.....

not necessarily meng, i mean bosch is american...ngk is japanese......now that i think about it that should be more than enough reason right there...

but ill stick with them til they burn out......*Crosses fingers*

*edit*- i mean if theres something about bosch's that will smoke my engine, ill change em....i'd just like to see the proof..

That's right, don't get P+4's. My cars did not run like ****, but kept throwing cylinder misfire codes. It threw those codes on a stock civic lx engine, integra ls engine, and an accord v6 engine. I replaced the rotor, cap and plugs on all of them, and it still threw codes. When I changed them back to the stock NGK's, BAM! it wasn't throwing any more codes. I know the car wasn't running like ****, or detonating, or what not, but it was throwing codes because of those plugs. So imho, bosch platinum +4s suck a$$.

Stock plugs are NGK laser cut platnium.... and there like 13 dollars each. The OEM route is still expensive, but its your car and you money.... so go for whatever you want.
