ngk plug- gap size? 44 -vs- 38 -vs- 35
All motor itr all stock. Its a jdm with high compression with 4-1 oem header intake and exhaust. I know this has be asked before but I just ordered ngk plugs from sparkplugs.com (PFR7G-11) and their gaped to 0.044. Should I leave them be or I heard people mention that 0.035 is good. What up with the gap size. Hullar back

why?
why?
I always gap my motor/plugs to .035 but my motor is high compression (12:1).
I thought that gapping a stock motor/plugs lower will make the motor run rich, so
it's not really necessary unless you want to waste gas. Oops. I guess I'm wrong.
Gap at .035.
