installed my oem ash tray and cigarette lighter interior panel into my hatch a while ago. i order the part from http://www.handaaccessories.com for $30.24

the install was fairly simple and can be done in about 20 mins. just remove the drivers dashboard lower cover, the center console lower cover, and drop the glove box. then it's simply plugging a few wires into the fuse box and securing the connector plugs. finally reinstall your panels and test. here is the final outcome

 

looks good. so is it an entire lower piece? it looks like it's missing a few inches on the lower side.....

I have had one for a couple of months and have problems fitting cups in the cup holder nothing really fits in it.

thanks, it is the entire lower piece. it does look like it's missing a few inches on the lower half but it's just the camera angle. you can't see that normally

man,...EK cupholders suck no matter if you have that console or not,...but i do like that console,..im gonna think about getting one,.good ****

 

I ordered one when I had my 00 Si, it arrived the day after I toalled my car.

 

i got one of those...$25 from a dealership in elk grove. pretty coo except the outer ring for the lighter socket doesnt glow and its a pain trying to get the lighter back in the socket at night. i know its minor but still. i also heard they discontinued producing those.

looks good....one cool trick i told my friend to do was to put his boost gauge INSIDE the ashtray itself. that way, when he leaves the car, he can hide it by pushing the ashtray up, and when he pulls the ashtray down, the boost gauge kinda levitates down. worked out great, and it looks cool.

 

yeah i got one last year it really filled the space. makes the cup holder harder to use. wait a minute it never worked haha.

 

Does the color match up with the rest of your dash? I know they have it in black too. I am lookin' to gettin' one.

 

the color matches up fine. be sure to order the dark grey piece if you interior color code is "K"

 

Do they actually have the dark grey still avail? the site says dark grey is dicontinued.

 

i dont smoke but i still ordered mine a few month back just because i like how they look. And like stated above i have trouble fitting bigger drinks in my cup holder now, but oh well it looks cute right. pics on the sig.
