Default B20 crx, swap , random crap opinions

hey i searched for a little while and am kind of interested in a crx, i might sell the 240sx and pour in the money it to a crx, not sure yet though, although i do have a few questions.

Regarding a b series swap, obd 1 or 0? does the motor bolt right in or does something need to be done. I was thinking of doing a b20vtec from a base of a full engine and then just swapping out the block, i could get a parts car for rather inexpensive but then i must keep in mind that it is a USDM chassis/engine so i have limited choices, also i would like it to stay all motor

-obd1 3rd genGSR parts car
-Obd 2 '99 Si b16a
-Obd1 2nd gen gsr
-obd2 type R (but this is unheard of so i will not consider it

Now, the actual chassis, any particular year CRX to look for ? trim model etc

basically just anything about the swap would help, if it bolts in or not, and if it matters wheter or not the car is originally auto or not

thanks for the help

First of all no b-series engine bolts into a crx. the need mounts such as haport, place racing or hcp. most people get hasport. second the only part that u can find obd 0 would be a b16a head so most likely go with obd1. also look for a 90-91 si model. this model has a mpfi harness and rear disc brakes. also i would recommed doin the b20vtec with a b16a head. I belive it owuld give u more compression. i think thats it

actually you'd get more compression with a gsr head. it has smaller combustion chambers.
