Default Do Civic Dx's have a main relay under the dash like Civic Si's?

Just like the topic says. My buddy's 1990 Civic Dx won't start. It has spark but he's not sure about fuel. Is there a way to check to see if the fuel pump is working before dropping the tank? I just want to make sure that the main relay is working if the car has one. If it does, then it isn't clicking. Thanks

you should hear the pump whir when the key is turned. i'm pretty sure the main relay is under drivers side dash left of steering wheel.at least my std does.

yup, under the dash and to the left. and like mr. carpenter said, when you turn the key to the "on" position, you should hear the pump kick in, then turn off.

My pump works fine but you can't hear it turn on. You can do this test to see if the pump is working.

or you can disconnect the fuel return line from the fuel rail/throttle body and see if the pump flows 7oz in 10 sec.
