How many miles does your honda have?
This has probably been asked before but:
How many miles does your honda have on it, what year is it, and what type of work (repair work) have you done on it?
My accord is a '98 with 130,000 miles on it. My transmission went out a little before 120,000 and was replaced (it's an automatic). A wheel bearing was replaced around 80,000. I live down a very bumpy dirt road with large potholes so my car has had excessive wear and tear. I had a ford and a dodge before and neither one of them held up even half as long as my honda has.

'99 Accord LX, manual transmission, and ~ 55,000 miles.
No major repairs, just routine maintenance. Though my driver's side door lock seems to be sticking lately, and my driver's side mirror is "floppy" (it's bendable, unlike the '98, and it now it literally moves with the wind when I drive, I just need to glue it in place). I think the mirror was hit at an odd angle one day in the parking lot.

97 Lx -- 59,000 miles
Had recall done -- ignition switch.
Also two syncromesh gears replaced, 2nd and 5th.
Drivers side CV boot cracked, causing loss of lubricant, ruined the drive axle.
so far, i've been rather disapointed with my reliability. I don't drive the car hard either.

2. It's a '99 LX Sedan Automatic
3. No work repair so far........hoping that my local dealer is "mod friendly"...

1994 accord ex
-~80, 000 miles now
-only problem i have was passenger side window keeps acting up, the window will slide out of its track everytime i roll up the windows. this is happening after i replaced the window regulator since the cable on the first one snapped.
-radiator had a crack in it and coolant leaked everywhere. changed it and have no problems with it.
-thermostat failed, good thing it had a failsafe thermo(which means it will get stuck open, which is better than stuck closed). changed it, cooling efficiency is 100% normal now.
2003 s2000
-right now has 1,400 miles
-no problems(knock on wood)
as you can see, the accord only had small problems that were fixed with no problem. i am happy with my accord.

'89 Accord LX-i, manual trans - 321,000 miles. Only major work ever done was a headgasket @ 275k after it developed a small leak. Fixed it myself, no big deal. All the rest has been minor stuff that you would expect on this mileage car
-original CV joints and 2 fuel injectors @ 190k
-original alternator @ 220k
-main relay in there somewhere
-water pump @ 260k (that was probably last replaced @ 90k mile service)
-TPS @ ~262k (that was my fault though)
-2 rear upper balljoints @ 270k
-original master cylinder @ 296k
-original distributor and vacuum advance in here somewhere
-original starter @ 298k
-I replaced nearly the entire A/C system @ about 310k (it hasn't worked since 1999 sometime). Working great now!
-now those CV joints that were replaced (above) are clicking, so those will need replacing again. Damn rebuilt parts
Of course there has been a few small misc parts and consumables, like brake pads, rotors, and an oxygen sensor
Sounds like alot, but really it's not that much, considering. Junkyard ownz!!
Reliability has been outstanding.... never once broken down or failed to start.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Damn, I think that's the answer! I had been trying to think of a good compound to lock it up, I would rather have a mirror that doesn't fold than spend $140 on a new mirror (which is what they cost for the part itself, from a discount etailer, I had to replace the passenger mirror a couple of years ago after sliding on ice and hitting a mailbox, snapping the passenger mirror off).
I forgot about the ignition switfch recall, I had that done.

I live about 30 miles out of town. So in order to get anywhere I have to drive a long ways. Then I was also going to school that was 50 miles away. Add that to occassional trips to San Antonio (100 miles one way) and a vacation to Massachusettes (3,000k one way) it doesn't take long for the miles to really add up. I plan on driving my honda until it flat out can't go anymore. I hope I can get another 4 or 5 years out of her. We'll see.
Got a 91 LX Accord 176,000 miles...havnet had it but 6 months....was wrecked by a previous owner but was repaired....No major problems though....
Air conditioning doesnt work
antenna wont go down...makes loud grinding noise
CB joints need to be replaced soon
trouble pulling it from park to drive at times
idles funny
Still running strong though.
