I am planning a pretty intense road trip in the R Aug 1-10 and want to carry a full size spare and extra fuel in a basket rack on the roof. Don't laugh -- the Jeeper in me has learned to be prepared.

Anyway, I'm not in a position to drop $500+ for a Yakima rack w/ Loadwarrior basket, so I was wondering if there was anyone, preferrably in the VA/NC/MD area, that had one that fits the 2-dr Integra and would be willing to loan or rent it to me. If you're outside of that area, I'd gladly pay for shipping to and fro.

If you only have the rack to loan, and not the Loadwarrior basket, I can get ahold of that.

Also, as I've never used one of these racks, if they f-up the car, someone please let me know.

How many people are going on the trip?

You can easily hold 2 full size spares in the hatch + tons of cloths, food, extra gas can, tools, etc in the back & hatch.

If that's not your cup of tea, here's a bump so you can get a hold of a roof rack.

 

Somewhere around here i have a Thule Rack lying around.
It has hardware to fit civics/integras.

 

I have a full Thule rack (complete w/ SRA, fairing, locks and keys, no cargo box though-but I might be able to help you with that too) for a 2-dr integra that I could loan/rent to you.
