Just got a JDM B18C type R motor swapped in an eg... I am replacing the clutch today and i was wondering what, if anything is stamped on the back of your guys's flywheels? On the back of the unit it is stamped with P30... which is the JDM B16a piston and ECU... Also... the oil pan is stamped with P72 which is a GSR stamp i thought..

I know i have a LSD, and i have a type R head and B18C block, but i havnt pulled the head to see what the pistons are in the block... but i put down 174 whp on a dyno to make sure the power numbers were good... So im pretty confident in the slugs...

But do all of you have a P30 flywheel as well?

The stuff is interchangable

 

a type R flywheel is a lot lighter then a GSR or B16 fly... thats why...

 

I musta missed that part.

I dont think it should have p30 on it, but its very obvious whether its an itr
flywheel or not.

My B18C1 flywheel has P30 on it. It weighs around 20lbs. I believe the OEM Type-R flywheel should way around 14 lbs.
